The Canyon

Well, the other day I got off of work at 4 and it was such a nice day my dad and I decided to grab some KFC and head up the canyon for a ride. We went up just about a half hour and stopped to take some pictures. It is so nice to get up in the mountains, granted I don't get to do it very often and I probably don't know much on what to do up there but once you are in the mountains it is so peaceful and calm and everything just seems right. I love love love to just sit and think about everything and listen to the silence!

ALLRED

On Saturday night I went with some friends to see Allred (or John Allred). He is still climbing his way to the top, but he has made a few cd's and everybody at the venue knew who he was... wow is he amazing!! He has a mellow sound (if you like dashboard confessionals you will like him ... http://www.allredmusic.com/) Anywho it was great to get out with some girlfriends and just listen to his music!





Our pictures are actually with the guitarist not allred himself... the guitarist played the guitar and the cello with allred and his guitar... it was really amazing!

New IPOD

Another little tid bit of information... I now love March Madness haha... My friend Valma P. helped me fill out my bracket and guess what... I totally won my work competition. I got to bring home a brand new Ipod nano! I already have one that Ty bought me for my birthday last year that has my name engraved on it... so now I have two Ipods. I decided one will stay in my car and the other I will use for running and in my room when I am listening to music. I am so excited.

So much to update on...

Well, first I will update on Tampa. It was such a great trip! I left on Thursday March 26 and came back on Sunday March 30. I want to go into sales in my job (right now I am support) so winning this trip was a great experience for me. I got a little taste of the show floor first hand! Not to mention that Tampa was so pretty!! I got to see the beach for the first time! It was so pretty white sand and crashing waves the whole 9 yards haha... we got to shop and spend some time having fun!!

I haven't updated in a while so I thought I would do a quick recap! The past few months have been pretty normal haha. Except I get to go on a trip to Florida with some people from work and I leave tomorrow!! I am so excited to get out of this Utah weather for 4 days and just relax in the sun... well and do a little work to =] Tampa here I come!!!

Home for the holidays!

Well, they holiday came, and left faster than that! Ty and I drove home to Salina and were able to stay the 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th!!! It was so fun to be home with the family and have a few days off of work. We had a great time and we all had a great Christmas!! Here are some wonderful pictures!

GO BRONCOS!!!

For Christmas I bought Ty tickets to see the Denver Broncos play at Invesco Field on December 21st! We drove out Saturday, went to the game Sunday, and drove back Monday. We stayed in Colorado Springs with Ma and Pa Johnson and had a blast!! They cooked for us and took good care of us! Pa makes the best homemade noodles in the world!! Well, little did I know when I bought the tickets that I was buying tickets for the coldest game in Broncos history! It was so cold but me and Ty just stayed bundled up and stuck it through. It was an awesome experience and we decided to make it a tradition.

Thanks so much grandma and grandpa Johnson we had a blast!

Santa Puppy

I bought the puppy a santa costume for Christmas!! He is my little baby and I play dress up with him whenever he lets me =] Don't worry I am not horrible I have only bought him a total of maybe 4 outfits in the whole year that I have had him.... But doesn't he look adorable??? My mom and dad took him home so they could have some company while mom was laid up with her leg and I have missed him so much! I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, but man was I wrong!! I can't wait to see him tonight.

P.S. His 1-year birthday is Dec. 26 so I do accept gifts on behalf of him muhahaha
